This piece is based on a early 20th Century British Dreadnought - a superweapon for its time. This type of ship is what led up to the arms race between the French, German, Russian, Japanese and eventually the Americans. I call it "Ship of Fools" to talk about rampant military spending leading to faulty thinking among peoples. The ship has no propellers, no rudder and no bridge/command center. It's just a mindless killing machine with plenty of guns and power, but no leadership or direction.
