This is the first of many ships that I will be making.
This piece took "Second Place" at the "Art of Recycling" competition.
The piece is made from found steel pistons and motorcycle parts, soupcans (with gold leaf), mailbox parts, and scrap metal from a green and white shed, and red accents from a found toolbox.

This is the piece that made"Actor/Director Ron Howard" (Opie/Richie Cunningham/Backdraft/Splash fame) make a "beeline' towards my booth at the Old Town Art Fair 2010.
