"High and Dry" for Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk 2010 and Sculpture Walk Castlegar
This piece is my take on the Beetle's "Yellow Submarine".

The form is based on one of my personal motif's - a wooden shoe- combined with a submarine. All the plates have been hand cut, drilled out, riveted and welded together onto a steel armature. All the coloured pieces are powdercoated and assembled on site.
This piece took "Best in Show - Other Material-Steel,Wood, Stone" and is now in Castlegar British Columbia, Canada for their Sculpture Walk 2011.
